Outstanding experience - what a lovely property and home! The host's communication about our reservations and arrival time were easy/excellent. Gorgeous home and room - everything is immaculately clean and maintained. Lovely B&B details like coffee delivered to our room each morning and incredible homemade breakfasts including just-baked coffee cake and eggs benedict with homemade hollandaise. Beautiful linens and decorations throughout the home with thoroughly modern bathrooms. Kay and Kevin are the perfect B&B hosts - can't wait to go back!
We absolutely loved our stay at Toll House. Kevin & Kay are both so friendly and welcoming. They have restored the home with beautiful attention to detail. The breakfast both mornings was fantastic, and the room was comfortable and cozy. We slept so well! It was such a treat having a soak in the claw foot tub in our bathroom. We especially loved having tea and coffee in our room next to the fireplace before coming down for breakfast. When we are in Manitowoc again we will definitely be back!
We stayed three nights in this lovey historic inn. The bed was very comfortable and the walk-in shower was really great. Each morning the breakfast was different and very elegant. The eggs benedict was special and the avocado toast was a big hit. The owners are delightful and went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay.
The Toll House B&B is a gem and should be included as your accommodation choice if possible. The owners, Kevin and Kay, are special city stewards who have breathed new life into this Victorian home, in every detail! The beauty of the home is matched by the warm hearts of the owners and both know the history of the city and will suggest events and restaurants. The three course breakfast is the icing on the cake. If you want to enjoy all the historic sites in Manitowoc, be sure to include this one.
Our stay at the Toll House was absolutely the best! Our hosts could not have been more gracious and accommodating. The house and rooms are absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. We felt treated like royalty. Breakfast was next level! Not only did we have challenging diets to address but the food was magazine-cover worthy and tasted every bit as good as it looked. We felt very cared for with how Kay adjusted to what we could and could not eat and it was phenomenal. I look forward to hopefully staying again on our next trip to the area. Can't recommend highly enough! We enjoyed hearing a little bit about the history of the house and so much admire the work that has gone into making the inside AND outside so enjoyable. There was care that went into every detail! We are very thankful for our stay and it really made our weekend that much more special.
My husband and I just stayed at the Tollhouse, we had a wonderful experience! We took the SS Badger over from Ludington, it was a perfect place to stay. Kay and Kevin are fantastic hosts. Upon arrival, Kay greeted us providing us some history of the home, as well as information about the surrounding area. She then took us to our room (we stayed in Eunice’s room), that was absolutely gorgeous. My husband then requested coffee. Kay had no problem complying. We had our coffee on their beautiful deck, that is encompassed by their breathtaking yard. Per Kevin, 785 begonias are planted each year and that doesn’t include all the perennials they have. The yard has many, many beautiful-mature trees, which house several species of birds. Thanks to Kay’s bird feeder we were able to see many. Breakfast the next morning, PERFECT! This B&B checks all the boxes, definitely would stay again!!
We had the most wonderful experience staying at the Toll House B&B recently. The home and property are beautiful and in such wonderful condition. The owners, Kay and Kevin, were excellent hosts and truly made the overall experience one of a kind. My mouth is still watering from the incredible breakfast! Thank you, Kay and Kevin, for being such a joy to be around. We look forward to staying with you the next time we are in the area!
We needed a place to stay when we traveled to Green Bay for a Packers game. Manitowoc was close, and this place looked interesting. The hosts were extremely gracious and the place was wonderful. The breakfast they served was excellent.
Concert was good, Bed and Breakfast was amazing!! Kay and Kevin were amazing hosts, the room was incredible, and the entire house is restored to its original beauty!
